1.) Don't install NT 4.0, there is no sense in runnig it. It's just too
insecure and Win 2000 is much more stable and is still supported by
Microsoft.

2.) You can install Win2K in a different directory; it won't format the
drive unless there is no OS already on it. I've run both Windows 2000
Professional and Windows 2000 Server on a Pentium II/233 laptop this way.
And, it was usable; just not fast.
