If you're referring to Netscape 4.x then it won't show as transparent because that browser doesn't support transparent Flash movies. This is something that was only supported from v5 browsers and onwards (and not properly fixed until later than that). Can't remember offhand where I read that but I'll try and dig the info out to be sure.
