Thanks Tom,

I get that occasionally when I'm working on the files in audacity, which seems to be to do with lack of RAM, and is solved by a restart.

If there were problems with all the files I would be looking for a totally new approach, but this is just one of 13 getting the 'in situ' test as they have worked for other testing.

I suppose there might be some corruption on the server which has unexpected failures. I'll reload them and see if things are better.

Joseph

Every time I tried to access it, I got nothing but a short 'squeak'. You might want to look at 'Total Web Audio' here...

That's my affiliate link. It's not just the best 'audio' playing system for web pages, but also great for including video files. And... it works even over dial-up accounts. :)

I have a series of sound files which are called by being embedded in a page which is called by a url in an autoresponder message. This is the url:

When I click on this the message starts, stops halfway, restarts and ends half way through. I cannot find a fault with the audio or page files (which doesn't mean it isn't there!) and the previous 11 have worked fine.

Could you have a try to see if it does the same for you, or works as a single, 20 second, audio.

TIA

Joseph
