Thanks Tom,
I get that occasionally when I'm working on the files in audacity, which
seems to be to do with lack of RAM, and is solved by a restart.
If there were problems with all the files I would be looking for a totally
new approach, but this is just one of 13 getting the 'in situ' test as they
have worked for other testing.
I suppose there might be some corruption on the server which has unexpected
failures. I'll reload them and see if things are better.

Every time I tried to access it, I got nothing but a short 'squeak'. You
might want to look at 'Total Web Audio' here...
http://ibiwebmedia.com/track.php?action=atrack&id=205&track=56
That's my affiliate link. It's not just the best 'audio' playing system
for web pages, but also great for including video files. And... it works
even over dial-up accounts. :)

I have a series of sound files which are called by being embedded in a

When I click on this the message starts, stops halfway, restarts and ends
half way through. I cannot find a fault with the audio or page files
(which doesn't mean it isn't there!) and the previous 11 have worked fine.
Could you have a try to see if it does the same for you, or works as a
single, 20 second, audio.
TIA
Joseph
