Never had that sort of an issue with mine but you do know that in most
models the battery is replaceable? I'd try draining the battery completely a
few times (check the web for how to get it to completely discharge since
just leaving it running usually causes it to shut off before the battery is
really completely discharged) and a few hard resets. If that doesn't work
then see about a new battery.

My new boss is moving and I was helping her clean out some storage closets
when I found a box labeled Dell Axim handheld.  I handed it to her and she
told me that she had bought it from someone and it kept giving her a low
battery message and she just couldn't get it to work.

Wow!  It seems to work fine other than the low battery message - does anyone
know anything about these?  I will Google later but if there is an expert on
this group it would really help.
