Something tells me Sony will face a difficult
couple of years as sales fall due to
this. Another attempt to make copyright law
bypassing legislation (see lots on Google).
I dipped my toe into arguing over copyright
elsewhere on the net; I conclude it is due for
a philosophic rethink (unlikely) and that the
internationalisation is going to result in
countless 'patches'. Makes it more important
that all ad hoc rewritings be stamped on as hard
as possible, whether the intentions are good or not.
14 pages of agreement - wow! - it's shorter from
the old chap with horns. I note the alternative
of retaking the picture with another camera, but
surely the easy way is to run the pic through a
photo program (plenty good free ones).
Still, I doubt if the Sony system is so good
that it counters the 'yawhol mein fuehrer' approach. Sounds like the Edsel.
