Hi, I'm a relatively new subscriber to this list and have been lurking.
I support a website that uses Movable Type for its blog. And Invision for its forum even though Invision also has blog software. Don't ask me why; I didn't set it up. Movable Type is very straightforward to administer. The Invision blog software looks like it's pretty straightforward as well. I've done some investigation of the Scoop and Drupal software which aren't so simple but very robust. I've not found a good comparison of blog software thus far though I'd be very interested in seeing one.
