Hi,

I am trying out a new backup program for backing up to my external hard drive. Well, it's thrown at me that it can't back up to a FAT32 system w/o me breaking it down into 2G increments (I think NOT!). It offers a way to convert the drive to NTFS. Do I want to do this? It's a new machine, HP, WinXP Media supposedly ready for Vista. I don't know what else you may need to know to advise me. Here is the link to the info they provide:

My external is also FAT32 if that matters and it's probably 2 1/2 years old or so.

This seems like something that falls under "leave well enough alone" as I've had just bookoodles of computer problems all of December. Went thru 3 new computers that failed and so far this #4 if working just fine.

Thanks much!
