Supposedly at some point in time pam_mysql used from saslauthd was prone to
memory leaks. One fix is to change the line for FLAGS in
/etc/saslauthd.conf to contain "-n 0". This tells it to fork connections
instead of threads. It's "less efficient" to do this on a heavily used box
but may help pin down the leak. Try it and report back.
