I agree with David. I'm just beginning web development (so my opinion
may not matter to some...) however I feel as if today the web is about
being attractive as it is about being functional.
One of the primary reasons for choosing web2py is it's flexibility,
simplicity, and core functionality. Even though not as "pretty" as
most it is well polished were it matters most.
With that said I still would like my super functional web2py app to
look just as good as it works.

Like I said I'm new to the whole web development world, however I feel
like I made the right decision in choosing to use web2py.
Hopefully you "big brains" can create something that will please most
users and continue to be *the* great python web framework.
