I apologize for not giving enough information right away. I was using the "Test Forum" under the "Test pyForum and Miscellaneous" here: http://pyforum.org/pyforum/default/view_forum/1 and not the "Members Testing Forum" under the "Testing Member Category".
I was testing as an anonymous user, perhaps this is the cause? The forum description lead me to believe this is possible: "Test the addition/reply to posts as an anonymous user if you wish. ..." I checked again and the problem persists, it gives an internal error and a ticket is created. I did not try to apply for a membership to test posting while logged in.
