Many laptops and standalone cams use the "5602" & "5603" chipsets. Two of
these are currently listed at
http://webcam-osx.sourceforge.net/cameras/index.php with these details
"Acer, built-in notebook camera, not working (no documentation), 0x0402,
0x5602, M5602" & "aGent, 1.3 MP CCD Webcam (B), not working (no
documentation), 0x0402, 0x5603, M5603C". I'd like to get macam to support
the 5602 & 5603. One bit of driver code should work for both as they are
very similar as well as 100s of other models that use the chipsets. Some
research has been done for Linux and progress has been made. See:
http://www.actiongames.co.uk/m560x/forum/ & http://gkall.hobby.nl/m5603c.txt&;
http://gkall.hobby.nl/m5603c.html. I can provide sample hardware if
necessary. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Ryan
