Comment #1 by ivovandongen: That's odd. I've tested it with the underlying project: http://trac.macosforge.org/projects/calendarserver. It does support basic authentication. Since we're using commons-http client and UsernamePasswordCredentials (which has build-in support for digest authentication) we should be fine.
