It's not about using Qt 4.7-only features, it's about keeping trunk
clean and free of backwards-compatibility junk.
We did the same for Qt 4.7 (removing Qt 4.5 support.)
I'm asking if someone has a reason to keep QtWebKit from Qt 4.8
compiling against corelib/gui/network from Qt 4.6. :)
