Vladimir is correct; I just wanted to see if he cared enough to want it done the harder way in dev (he protests amiably). Also, with non-singleton views in the future, the compiler will have to be refactored to a degree, throwing out many of the compiler changes. There is a second issue with this implementation. It is fine to want initargs, but it is also easy to change view slot values at a later time, for much the same reason as `slot-default' is used for many weblocks-webapp initializations instead of initargs. Vladimir's implementation doesn't preserve these changes. As you may have noticed, I've been pretty distracted with Trac changes recently, so please merge it if you like it, Leslie, and you don't think the thing I just mentioned is that big a deal. -- Sorry but you say Nibiru is a Hoax?
