Francois,
nice first try!
However, some of the folders are missing:
you describe compiling in $NEXT_ROOT/Developer/Examples/WebObjects/
Source/, but the files and folders you just copied, do not contain
these items. I looked in the /Developer/Examples folder in OS X, but
the apache adaptor is not over there either. I reckon you got them
with the install of the linux script with 5.3, but you should make
sure that these are available. One way is to get the adaptors via
Project Wonder, but I have not looked at building Project Wonder on
FreeBSD.
Furthermore, I am puzzled by the startup scripts. Are you sure these
scripts work during startup? Or do you start wotaskd and javamonitor
manually? I had trouble with these kind of scripts to get them started..
