Where did you get the launchd script from? They are not included in

Yes, that's what I did. My apps make heavy use of mod_rewrite and
DirectActions, so I need to be able to deploy on my development box
(MacBook). And even if I didn't use DAs, I'd still want to test with
womonitor because that mimics my production environment.
You can fix the problem by adding the WOAutoOpenInBrowser false in
the launch parameters of the launchd script.
Ah; didn't think of that. I had updated JavaMonitor's Properties file,
which had the same effect, but I never like to touch things in the /
System/... path; it feels wrong. This is much better.
Or change the WOAutoOpenInBrowser value in JavaMonitor's Properties
file to false. I wonder whether true is ever correct for
JavaMonitor. If not, then maybe JavaMonitor's Properties file
should be fixed in a future WO update so Server's JavaMonitor
launchd config file can be used on client without modification.
My point exactly.
Of course you could simplify your life and deploy on MacOSX server…
It is sometimes convenient to be able to test deployment on client
prior to actually deploying on Server, so being able to run wotaskd
and JavaMonitor on client is important.
Yes, exactly. In fact, I _do_ deploy to Mac OS X Server, but, as noted
above, I need to run my apps through Apache, so running wotaskd and
JavaMonitor on my Mac OS X client machine are critical.
I realize that complaining about how JavaMonitor behaves on Mac OS X
client is complaining about an unsupported, or at least unofficial,
configuration. As Art mentioned, however, I think a lot of folks do it
because they want their development and production environments to be
similar.
Thanks,
zak.
