As indicated in the documentation, monitor and wotaskd are meant to be deployed behind a firewall. Please turn on the firewall of the machine.

It's for the wocommunity.org server. I want to block wotaskd from the outside, but I'm struggling on Monitor, if I close it from the outside, I will be the only one that can deploy or restart apps :-/ Well, someone can also edit the configuration file by hand and copy the apps by SSH :-)

wotaskd is a regular WebObjects application and I would think those two ports are the those of the WOAdaptor.

Ah, I never noticed them on a Tiger server. Thanks :-)

I'm looking at what ports are open on a Leopard server, and wotaskd open ports 49157 and 49160. Does someone knows what they are for ?
