Hi Gavin,

... yes, took me a few hours to compose!
add launchd files for wotaskd and womonitor, eg:

By the way, the console reports:
Suspicious setup: User "appserver" maps to user: _appserver
All you need do is create a symlink to the conf file you want to
include. e.g.,
$ ls -lah /etc/apache2/other/
total 24
drwxr-xr-x 5 root wheel 170B 14 May 12:40 .
drwxr-xr-x 9 root wheel 306B 22 Feb 03:19 ..
-r--r--r-- 1 root wheel 73B 25 Nov 2007 bonjour.conf
-r--r--r-- 1 root wheel 194B 25 Nov 2007 php5.conf
lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 57B 14 May 12:40 webobjects.conf -> /
System/Library/WebObjects/Adaptors/Apache2.2/apache.conf
That's a bit tidier, I agree.
Have you specifically turned on mod_rewrite?
No, Lachlan, there's nothing in the stock config file that does that,
and I don't see any rewrite rules used anywhere. Am I missing
something there. There's a lot of web chatter about the rewrite
module, but it tends to be referring to Apache 1.3
Try just using the stock conf file and simply doing the symlink
thing. Just get the basic config working first with the standard WO
stuff ... then try updating the adaptor etc. Bit by bit until it
breaks.
Good suggestion, the stock stuff works -- that is, Apple's versions of
wotaskd and JavaMonitor successfully get applications running through
Apache. Now to find why the Wonder applications don't work ... thanks
for your help, Lachlan .. Gav
