I don't plan to trust SSD on database server .. for the foreseeable future anyway :-) ..... a 4-drive RAID 1+0 with eSATA port is definitely the economical solution I want, .... just need a robust eSATA PCI card for the xserve DP 2.0 G5 now and I am all set.
