I will add the cryptic that some may consider it good news while others may consider it bad news.  Me, I am pretty happy.

So from that, I am *guessing* Apple is deprecating Java development within Xcode, which is on par with their deprecation of Java-Cocoa and now the WebObjects tools, and handing the responsibility over to our talented colleagues at Project WONDER.  

Java is just too big and popular (at least in the Enterprise) for Apple not to support Java applications (i.e. run-time) but I can understand how they no longer wish to compete with the likes of Eclipse for Java development - they were just getting beat hands down.

Of course, if I am wrong someone should probably correct me (privately even ;-)
