Also... What's the best place to add the code for the update of the timestamp?
I'm not supposed to change anything about an EO in validateForOperation methods so that rules out validateForSave().
I can use validateTimestamp()... but that means that the object is always saved even if nothing has changed since the timestamp is always different.
