... in a chat with Pascal Robert I just had, he was so friendly to let
me know that he thinks you have some deployed WO 4.0.1 apps. So I
would like to ask you if you have experience wit deployment of 4.x.x
apps on current Mac OS versions: from Tiger, Leopard till now
SnowLeopard ? And if yes, did you ever try a mixed deployment with
Java based WO 5.x versions ?
My question comes from the info I found in the JavaMonitor.woa in the
"Help/Deployment FAQ" - which states:
Q: Can I use 4.5.x and 5.x on the same machine?
A: The only supported mixed deployment is 4.5.1 Deployment + 5.x
Deployment. No mixed developments are supported. In addition, in a
mixed 4.5.1/5.x deployment, only the 5.x tools (wotaskd and Monitor)
should be used.

I got them run both (4.5.1 and 5.3.4) in parallel on my Leopard 10.5.8
MacBookPro, the 5.3.4 in correct Monitor/Apache environment through
Standard WOAdaptor, but unfortunately my 4.5.1 apps only through the
embedded socket addresses localhost:<port>.
.. so did you ever hear something about such kind of mixed deployment
of 4.5.1 and 5.4.3 on the same machine ?
