WO is a high road to take, even for top engineers it is not a tool for the faint of heart. so, take pride in your choice and understand you'll have to do some extra reading but there comes a time when you'll see the downhill slope and feel like you've learned a few things. as a note of practice, I'd take apart the example apps and try to make your own, converting parts and making new projects is boring, but leads to understanding. just one thing at a time.
