Hi Kevin,

While we are always happy to have newcomers, I will point out that WebObjects
is not the right solution for all situations. It is a tool intended for
professional developers to make robust web applications backed by a database.
It is truly awe inspiring to see how quickly someone skilled in WO and Direct
to Web (D2W) can build out an application. People talk of building a fully
functional proof of concept app during a requirements gathering meeting.
Getting to that level of skill can take a lot of time and effort and the
learning curve probably feels more like an over hanging cliff. If your needs
are simple and your goal is to get results quickly, then another technology may
be more suitable. Lift could be worth looking at, http://liftweb.net/.

Regardless of which direction you decide to take, welcome to The List.

Chuck
