Just a random idea I had I'm not sure if it's been discussed already but here 
goes:

Maybe the community could sell support and members could donate their time to 
service the support.  Seems like something people do anyway and at least this 
time the community could get paid for it.

And then when developers run up against the objection of "why should I use WO 
if Apple no longer supports it?" the dev can say don't worry we can buy support 
from this organization who specializes in WebObjects.

Anyway just a thought,
