That's an unfounded and incorrect assertion, and isn't helpful, to be honest. I've said that expecting people to have to log in once a day is not unreasonable, and I've seen no firm evidence to the contrary. I've accepted that 1-4 hours is probably too short, and that 8 hours is probably about right, based on the fact that the sun.com timeouts have recently been increased from 30 minutes to 8 hours.
