It shouldn't do that, because doing so leads to a greater than 4MB
bar. It should instead just *omit* the things it doesn't want to
display, rather than wrapping them.
(Yes, I know that we have other threads going on other possible
short-term fixes ...)
We are already looking to see if we can nobble the menu on the ARC page
without nobbling them for the entire site, but thanks for the suggestion :-)
