The SCM evaluation picked a cettralised SCM (Subversion) and a
distributed SCM (Mercurial). There are no plans to support any

Which could be fun for the desktop team, now that GNOME has just
announced it's switching from SVN->git too. I'm sure we'll figure it
all out, though...
