Well, I looked at the original message and I can't see any gremlins or special chars that might be responsible. Pipermail did the right thing by wrapping it in a <pre> tagset, Jive did not. You can always go back and edit the content in Jive manually and add the <pre> tags if it gets mangled on the import. I'm not sure why it mangled the plain text. It may have to do with the default import settings.
