I am the ARC coordinator and the one that posts the ARC agendas and minutes to the opensolaris-arc forum.

I recently got a complaint from an external party that the minutes were garbled when using the Jive forum.

Here is the message as it appears on http://mail.opensolaris.org/pipermail/opensolaris-arc/

http://mail.opensolaris.org/pipermail/opensolaris-arc/2009-May/015655.html

It is correctly formatted there.

Here is the message as it appears on http://www.opensolaris.org/jive/forum.jspa?forumID=10

http://www.opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=103949&tstart=0

It is run together there with no line separators.

Any idea what has happened or how I can prevent this in the future?
It's b/c it converts the message body to plain HTML using whatever the style for the main body is, in this case variable width sans-serif.

Unfortunately you can't define fixed width message on a per message or per forum basis with this version of Jive.

If you open and close the mail body with the <pre> tag it will format correctly. I edited your message so take a look and let me know if that works for you.
