#1: Even though I had successfully logged in last Monday and filled out my profile, I was forced to log in again today and re-enter all my profile data - again. Since I can't do anything at all on the site until the profile page is filled in and accepted (along with its arbitrary so-called security questions), this "oops, we forgot or invalidated your already-entered info" is acting like a denial-of-service attack that makes the new site useless.
Since we migrated the data over to Auth you have logged in just once - at 00:29 UTC today. At 00:36 UTC you validated your account details. If you logged in on Monday 3rd it must have been before we performed the final migration over to auth, which happened between 12:00 and 16:00 UTC, as announced.
RFE: It should be possible to log in and use the site even if you have an incomplete profile. I don't have a problem with the "1st time login takes you to the edit profile page"; the rude behavior towards community members is being /locked/ into it: "you can use the site anonymously all you want, but if you try to login and you don't have a profile, you can't ever do anything but edit the profile".
You can use the site even if you have an incomplete profile - simply log in, then navigate to the page you want to go to. If you don't fill in the profile page you'll be taken to it on each subsequent login as a reminder to fill it in.
