Does the new website have a link to Opensolaris-related blogs? On the old
site it was the last entry at the bottom of the left-hand side of the page
under the "General" heading.
For me, the blog list was instrumental in helping me find things like
"automatic snapshots", following Eric Schrock's work on device enumeration,
Ben Rockwood's summaries, etc.
I note that the original link still seems to be working at
http://stage.opensolaris.org/os/blogs, but I'd like to be able to drill
down from the new main page.
Thanks, and apologies in advance if I've missed something obvious.
hi ...
We hadn't planned on moving the blog aggregation feature on the old tonic
portal, and we published that intention in these two documents:
http://hub.opensolaris.org/bin/view/Community+Group+web/content_preparations
http://hub.opensolaris.org/bin/view/Community+Group+web/site_features
The bloggers you mention are also on http://planet.opensolaris.org/ as are
all the most active people on the project.
Hi Jim -
Wasn't there going to be some replacement technology on the new site? Like
an RSS reader or something? I thought I remembered this from one of the
website transition meetings, as we also have blogs on our security pages.
Thank you,
Valerie
