reproduction scenario:
lenovo T400, MS Windows 7 32bit, Sun VirtualBox
3.1.4r57640, virtul OS = OpenSolaris snv_133 + VirtualBox tools
- run expensive IPS command like pfexec pkg image-update
- in parallel do something expensive (compiling from source code, ..)
- keep machine untouched, you shall get freeze of OpenSolaris virtual machine
