I've used open atrium a little and think that it requires a real requirements evaluation. OpenAtrium is built using Drupal and provides a lot of features. I'm a fan of iterative improvements to a minimalist design to meet requested needs. I guess I don't like buffets and prefer ala carte, if I can control my apetite. I think thats why I like Drupal is that I can strip the system down to the most basic functions and add only the features necessary for a given person to accomplish their role.
