What are your comments on that? Yes, you don't but using the image on different pages is in no way related to the topic, is it? You upload image image.png in 800x600 once, and that is the only version of the image you would upload. On the features page, you insert it in a smaller size, (400x300) - but instead of also uploading the screenshot in that size, just use the width/height controls in the insert image task pane. Silverstripe then creates a scaled down copy by itself. e.g. http://www.libreoffice.org/assets/fi-screenshots/FI-LibOMath.png is the original one, the one that was uploaded. While in a page the image was inserted with 300x255, thus silverstripe did create a scaled-down copy: http://www.libreoffice.org/assets/fi-screenshots/_resampled/resizedimage300225-FI-LibOMath.png If in another page you would use it in 400x<whatever fits the ratio>, then it would create that size as well. Of course nobody is forced to use that feature, and in some cases it might be better to create a completely different image in a different size (using differently sized fonts to begin with or similar), but generally it is not needed.
