I just finished getting my dictionary working. I uploaded it [again] and it dropped the .oxt mime type.

So I re-did that part, but used the "externally hosted URL" option dill the mime type issue gets fixed.

If there is a delay in getting the problem fixed, I am willing to upload any files [template or extension] to one of my domains so they the owners can use the external URL option till the fix is working. But it is up to the individuals who uploaded the files in the first place to make that choice. The offer stands though.

Thanks to the person in Berlin who let me know my file was not downloadable. Thanks to Andreas for the help as well.

Next upload will be a much larger American English [en_US] dictionary spelling list [217K+ instead of 50K+ words], plus hyphen and thesaurus included this time.

Hi,

2011/10/30 webmaster for Kracked Press Productions<webmas...@krackedpress.com>:
I was looking at some of the templates on the LO template site. Many of
the one I looked at download with no extension. Ubuntu/Firefox stated
that they were .bin files. The file manager shows then as OOo files of
different types, like the .otx files. Also the Hebrew Dictionary does
not have an extension as well.

So is there some problems here?
Do I have to add the proper template file extension to get them to
install or open correctly?

Look at the Blue half circle and the Green half circle Presentation
templates. Also the LibreOffice Presentation template, plus others.
Tell me what am I to do with these non-extension files.
I can confirm this with

sparency
I don't know at the moment, why some templates loose the mime-type. I looked
into the
mime-type registration of the instance, but ODF is completly recognized there
(documents and templates with their file extensions). I'll work on this, but
this
needs some time.

Andreas
