The add-on is very flexible. The site admin could add as much categories and LibreOffice versions as he likes or the user/contributors requests. Could you please explain a bit more in detail what you propose for new projects? Should they have a release before they will be published? Should projects with no release during the last year or another time period send a warning to the owner? Should the website send a message to the project owner that a new version of LibreOffice has been added?
