Better, yes....Has it been tested? I am concerned I am the one finding 
the issues by running the code, not looking at source code...

On my tests, saved php files in htdocs where not reloaded at page reload?
What are we doing for this, or which config am I missing there?
Also What about the userdir configuration? I see a httpd-userdir.conf 
file under etc/apache2/2.2/original/extra...
How one is supposed to use this file? If not, why don't we have 
commented section in the httpd.conf file?
