Well, there's already a trail since everything is versioned.  Vandals
can't destroy anything, they can only disrupt and annoy.  

If you sign your work, that increases accountability -- that someone
else can sign your name is actually something of a feature, since
anyone can move things from the archives into the Wiki and put the
right name on it, which isn't their own.

This requires the honesty of the people that use it, but the
experiences of other open Wikis suggests that people are much more
honest than is generally expected.

Yeah, I suppose it would be pretty easy to find something to automate
that process.  But my objection to authentication isn't really
technical, but more social.

A missing module, I presume.  I've installed the module, but I'm still
quite reluctant to require authentication.
