I find the current "registration" process a bit confusing. I ended up on the
defunct TWickiRegistration page, just trying to figure out how I was supposed add
my name to the authors list.

Assuming authentication will be as easy as filling out the revived
TWickiRegistration form and getting a password via email and then typing in an
ID/password when you want to edit or add something, I'd vote for authentication.
Presumably a byproduct of authentication will be the "changed by" column on the
topics page will be something other than TWickiGuest.

Anyone who wants to remain anonymous can easily do so (and probably already has)
by signing up for a bogus email ID.
