I think Clark is right here... I started this thread, and the reason why I started it is that I was hoping that someone who knew Webware could tell me what Twisted was all about. I use Webware, and it only took me a casual read of the docs as they were at version 0.4 to understand what it was all about. At the time I was looking at Webware, I also looked at Twisted but gave up because it was rather "inscrutable" (as someone said to me off the list). Since then, I've returned to the Twisted site several times to try to grok it because it was obvious that there were some smart people behind it. But, I always gave up. I felt--rightly or wrongly--that if I couldn't figure it out in an hour or two (like Webware), then chances were that there would be trouble with the docs.
