Well, all sourceforge lists I subscribe to are not only terribly slow in rebroadcasting, but I see now from the archives they have no qualms with just plain missing messages. This is a reply to one such message I did not receive locally but can see on the archives page.
All non-sourceforge lists I subscribe to do not exhibit this behaviour. I also suspect there is a difference in handling mail to regular list subscribers and non-regular list subscribers such as owner/admin. I would think my mail account is messed up, but this only happens on sourceforge lists, 3 out of the 12 lists I subscribe to.
