Wow - that's a very generous offer, Shane! I'm certain that would more than meet our needs. We also have an hosting offer from Aaron Switzer, who has a server with EV1 -- so I guess we need to decide option would be the best for the project. The specs above would give us a _lot_ room to play with. It'd be cool (one day) to have a bunch of contributed sample/demo web apps running which people could play with, and then download the code for. It would also be nice to support a very Python-friendly ISP (which Tummy is). > If so, let me know who I should give the login info to once I sign up > for > the package. Chuck? Ian? Jason? Geoff? Let's wait a day to see if there is general approval, but if others are happy with taking you up on your offer I'd be happy to set up the server. I noticed that Tummy also offers Debian virtual servers; I run Debian if I have the choice and I know it's also Ian's preference. I don't know if it would be available at the same price, though -- if not, Redhat would be fine. peace, Jason ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
