I can currently only check this on Win XP and there I'm not seeing such problems (the service runs as local system account by default). You should look in both the Windows event log and the log file that you can specify in AppServerService.py. Concerning the webkit.dll, did you use the right one (in mod_webkit2)? Did you compile yourself or did you use the precompiled dll?
