The software is only as secure as the environment that it is operating
in...instead of getting new software...get a new security manager!

And Linux or open source is any better when the GNU source code server
was hacked and a trojan was in there from May to July and only recently
they found out?

There is no such thing as secure software. It's all managed risk. The
only secure communication is paper cups and string and if you are
standing close enough you can overhear that too.

"Don't lose sight of security. Security is a state of being,
not a state of budget. He with the most firewalls still does
not win. Put down that honeypot and keep up to date on your
patches. Demand better security from vendors and hold them
responsible. Use what you have, and make sure you know how
to use it properly and effectively."
