Follow-up Comment #2, task #5630 (project weechat):

I second this task/feature :)
My use case is/was: If someone's running their WeeChat on a IRC shell
provider for example, the shell provider can define sane defaults for his/her
server (set default lag stuff differently, make changes to xfer settings), add
the support channel/network to the default networks, etc.

It may also slightly decrease initial starting time of Weechat as it's just
doing a simple install or cp (or something similar) as opposed to writing many
options that are in the source/binary to a config.
