Gary,
gauges.js is in /var/www/html/weewx/ss/scripts.

The console throws out Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected identifier 
  gauges.js:39    link address is   
http://192.168.1.125/weewx/ss/scripts/gauges.js
I am assuming that means there is a problem at line 39 in  gauges.js
Line 39 reads  oldGauges          : 'gauges.htm',         //*** Change this 
to the relative path for your 'old' gauges page.
