hi Jan, I'm planning to get a Ventus w830 as well; can you let us know how well it worked for you (including any success in upgrading to latest firmware)? I'm also interested to learn how frequent the intervals are that you get updates from the station, as one of my usecases involves closing a suncover if there's sudden wind or rain.
