Hi Vince OK unplugged and re-plugged weather station It's a Watson 8681 which has been running v4 for 2-3 years having replaced a Maplin both of which are FineOffset The weather station is plugged directly into one of the usb2 ports, not a usb3 (blue one) The wifi is also plugged into one of the usb2 ports Years back I encountered the FO lockup issue, this isn't the same issue as I can sudo weewxd and it runs, hence doesn't appear that the console is locked.
