CDs. The mobile was switched off again, then, worst of all,
a female voice answered it at 7 a.m! She knew what she had
to do, she wouldnt hesitate, shed go straight to:

 WEIRD NEWS
-------------------------------------------------------------

Police in Annapolis, Md. are looking for a few ugly women. The
band of thieves are "very unattractive and obviously male," a
police detective says. The men wear tight skirts and high heels,
and the distraction they cause allows accomplices to steal
money, credit cards and checks from stores. "They might look
kind of silly when they dress up, but they're really good at what
they do," the detective added. (AP)

A Swedish funeral parlor, will be offering online funerals as
soon as broadband connections bring the transmission of
moving pictures up to an acceptable standard. "It's a fine way
for a person who cannot personally attend to show his respect.
They could be living a long way away or abroad," said manager
Ib Ahlen. (Reuters)

Those lawyers :-)
A Chicago lawyer charged $25,000 for "ground transportation"
while on business in San Francisco. His colleguea from Kansas
received close to $35,000 in workman's compensation because
he hurt his shoulder reaching into the backseat of the car for
his briefcase.

2 boys in Hamilton, Ohio were rescued after being trapped in
a closed boxcar at a rail yard near the Miller Brewing Company.
With no food or water, the survived for 8 days on beer. -I could
do this too... and much longer :-)

Cattle drive cooks were paid 30 to 40 percent more than any
other cooks on the cattle drive in the 1800s. The ranchers knew
that a good cook was imperative to keeping the cowboys well
fed and happy.
